This First Aid course is the recommended course for workplace first aiders.
NB If you already have unit standards 6402 & 6401 and would like to upgrade to the recommended workplace training, go to US6400-only bookings.
Emergencies related to ill health or injury are often unexpected and can occur anywhere at any time. This course will give you the skills and knowledge to assist during an emergency situation, covering medical emergencies, injury, and multi- casualty scenarios. Adult, child, infant CPR & airway obstruction, bleeding control, fractures, burns, poisons, common medical emergencies and more.
- 12 hours of training over two days
- Meets Worksafe NZ guidelines for workplaces
- First Aid Certificate is valid for 2 years
- NZ Qualification Authority (NZQA) Unit Standards 6402, 6401 & 6400 registered for free
- Meets the guidelines of the NZ Resuscitation Council Level 2 training
