Gain skills, knowledge and confidence in how to recognise when, and how, to provide basic life support, manage a foreign body airway obstruction, provide first aid management for a person in shock or bleeding.

Basic first aid topics and assessment include: burns, fractures, dislocations, soft tissue injuries, poisoning; medical conditions – heart attack, asthma, stroke, seizure, diabetes.

This course is for anyone in the workplace or community.
8 hours face-to-face learning and assessment.
