COURSES

Requirements for a Unit standard-assessed certificate:

Learners will need to be physically able to perform a range of first aid tasks in simulated emergency situations. If a learner is unable to perform CPR on the floor long enough for the instructor to assess competency, then they may not meet the requirements for a New Zealand First Aid, Foundation First Aid, Provide Basic Life Support, or New Zealand First Aid Revalidation Certificate.

Challenges to Learning:

If you have any specific needs we should be aware of, please email or telephone to let us know so we can assist you in ensuring a successful training experience.

Challenges to learning may include any of the following: Numeracy/literacy, physical, psychological or emotional.

Learners must have sufficient proficiency in the language the training is delivered in to understand theoretical information, instructor’s explanations and skill demonstrations, and be able ask questions and understand answers. Learners may be accompanied by an interpreter to assist with language difficulties or by a sign language interpreter.

We are looking forward to seeing you on the day where you will gain valuable knowledge and skills.
